First impression
I was kind of surprised that the tube was so slim. I guess I was imagining it would be as thick as a tube of mascara but it was thinner. I applied the serum as directed and it seemed pretty straightforward. The applicator is a thin brush (like a liquid eyeliner). There was no scent or color. I’ve heard great things about Rodan + Fields Lash Boost but have yet to try for myself until now.
Application/ease of use
This product application is different from other eyelash serums I have used in the past. Some that I have tried produce a lot of waste from the disposable brushes, which I never liked. Lash Boost has an applicator wand in the cap of the product, making it a seamless application (and so much less wasteful). I was able to toss it in my toiletry bag when traveling as well. Here’s what the Rodan + Fields website suggests for application:
Use R+F Lash Boost once daily in the PM, applying to upper lash line only.
1. Remove makeup and cleanse face.
2. Dry eyelids and lashes completely.
3. Apply serum only along the upper lash line of both eyes. Dip the brush once per eye and wipe any excess product off the brush before applying.
4. Gently wipe off any excess serum from your eyelids or lashes.Do not wash your face or eye area after applying and wait approximately 90 seconds for serum to dry before going to sleep or applying other products around your eye area. Avoid eyelids and lashes when applying any product to the eye area, including eye cream.

My thoughts after using Lash Boost after six weeks
I have pretty thick eyelids and normally, my makeup free lashes seem extra thin. This is why I usually wear false lashes, but that was getting kind of old. After six weeks, I have totally noticed a visible difference in the length and volume of my lashes. Each individual hair looked thicker. They looked longer and darker even without makeup. When I wore just two coats of mascara, they almost looked fake (in the best possible way)! It took about two weeks for me to start seeing results. I’ve read that people achieve maximum results in eight weeks, so I’ll report back in a couple weeks if I see even more of a change. I would recommend Rodan + Fields Lash Boost to a friend for sure.

How much is Lash Boost?
$155 for one tube.
Is it worth it?
Depends. If you don’t really care if your lashes don’t look long or full of volume, then don’t waste your money. If you have considered getting lash extensions, Lash Boost will give you a similar result but without the lengthy appointments, harsh adhesives and pricey fill costs. If you follow the directions and wipe off excess product off of the wand on the rim of the tube, you really don’t use a ton. It seems like one Lash Boost purchase could last quite a long time. I would 10/10 buy more when this runs out.

First impression
The tube was quite small. I love that the spooly brush was small and slightly cone shaped. The product was tinted so I noticed a difference immediately. The product did not feel wet like I was expecting it to. It made my brows feel a bit stiff but I didn’t mind because it held the hairs in place all day as a brow gel would.
Application/ease of use
Use the Brow Defining Boost once daily in the AM after your skincare routine. For best results, daily use + consistency are key.
1. Apply in short, upward strokes to define + shape brows into place.

2. Use precision tip to fill in any gaps + shape the brow tail.
3. For added benefits, apply R+F Lash Boost to your brows in the PM.
The size and shape of the wand made it super simple to apply. I especially liked using the smaller end of the applicator brush for the thinner outer parts of my brows. I felt like I was able to apply it neatly and accurately.
My thoughts after using Brow Defining Boost after six weeks
I noticed the more sparse spots on my brows began to appear fuller. I saw immediate results as far as a tint and hold.

If you have dark and full brows naturally, I’d just invest in some brow gel. If you get your brows tinted I highly recommend this product as well. If you have light or sparse brows I recommend Brow Boost.
