I have to preface this with Son Jung Wan’s shows are my favorites to attend. She doesn’t just make it about the garments. She creates an experience. The Fall/Winter 2020 collection was no different in terms of the superb attention to detail and exciting overall vibe.
The music was funky and upbeat as the models bounced along the runway. Looks were conservative but silhouettes were sexy (think cinched waists, bustling around the hips, slits, and deep v’s).
Clean skin, a flushed lip and bright winged liner combined with chic chignons kept the beauty feeling youthful and modern.
SJW always has exquisite use of texture and demonstrates an in depth understanding of the relationship between fabric, seaming and draping.
The show ended with sparkle, shine and asymmetrical cuts.
Here are some of my favorite details of the collection.
