I used to start my mornings listening to music as I got ready for the day. Then I discovered podcasts. You guys, it has changed my routine for the better. It’s the 2018 version of reading a magazine. Except much more personal and niche -which I love. When I listen to these podcasts, I feel like I am getting bite sized tips and tricks over casual candid conversation. Each of these have guest interviews as well that add to the value.
The Skinny Confidential Him And Her Podcast
Lauryn Evarts and her husband Michael Bosstick are the husband and wife personalities behind The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast. Lauryn is a bartender turned blogger turned empire. They speak SO candidly and honestly about relationships, wellness, beauty and are hilarious. They are business savvy and love to travel. Lauryn captivates because she is unapologetically real. Nothing is off limits in the TSC conversation. My favorite tips, tricks and life hacks come from this podcast. From how to instantly de-puff your face to how to micromanage your skinny margarita order. I even snagged Kris Jenner’s Famous lemon cake recipe from Lauryn. You need. Click here to listen.
Fat Mascara
It’s no secret that I am beauty obsessed. If you’re like me, this podcast speaks your language. I listen to this show when I am putting on my makeup or applying my favorite hair mask. The Fat Mascara website describes the show:

With day jobs as beauty editors, Jess & Jenn are plugged in to the industry’s latest news and share their inside access along with candid stories of their beauty adventures, from celebrity interviews and freaky new facials to miracle products and epic beauty fails. Each week, they also get advice from their favorite people in the beauty business, including influencers (Kat Von D, Christian Louboutin, Bianca Del Rio, Patrick Starrr & MannyMUA), makeup artists (Charlotte Tilbury, Bobbi Brown, Sir John), hair stylists (Orlando Pita, Ursula Stephen), and other industry experts like dermatologists, manicurists, perfumers, and more. The Gary Vee Audio Experience
Gary Vaynerchuck is a media mogul with a SUPER down to earth personality and tells it like it is. The show is geared toward entrepreneurs but his advice spills over into how to win at life pretty much. I listen to this when I need extra motivation or want to be inspired. I seriously get so fired up listening to Gary. What’s great about this podcast is the breadth of the archive. The length of his episodes vary but there are tons to choose from. Some are only five minutes long, others are an hour. It’s also a great show to listen to in the car on the commute to work. He interviews a TON of inspiring people, gives key note speeches on the regular and is not afraid to drop an occasional F*Bomb for emphasis. Click here to check out the podcast.
