You guyssss!!! My husband and I have decided to FINALLY update our 80’s contractor grade kitchen! I’ll be sharing more about what we have done as it starts to come together because we have D-I-Yed much of it. We are loving the results and the fact that we saved thousands. Before starting any kind of renovation project, it is so important to know exactly what you want the outcome to look like. There are endless options and can be overwhelming once you are faced with all of the possible choices (colors, finishes, hardware, lighting, styles, materials, it’s crazy). The first and only place I’ve done my research is Pinterest. I made a private board (because I pinned an INSANE amount of photos and didn’t want to flood the feed of my followers) and began looking at farmhouse style kitchens. I love the Anthropologie/ Joanna Gaines vibe.
I love a white bright kitchen. We started the process by painting our cabinets white and can already see a huge difference. That room faces north which means it only gets sun very early in the morning then it becomes dark. The white added so much light to it! I’ll be sharing the paint process soon!!
Here are some of my favorite inspiration pics…
