If you follow me on the gram, then you have seen my oversharing tendencies in action at NYFW last week. My girlfriends and I stayed at The Park Central Hotel so I figured I’d tell you guys about my stay.
Where & How Much?
Location, location, location. Park Central is situated in midtown Manhattan within walking distance to MoMA, Columbus Circle, Central Park south, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Rockefeller Center, Radio City Music Hall, and St. Patrick’s Cathedral just to name a few. My friends and I walked just a few minutes to Zara on Fifth Ave from our hotel. Less cab/Uber money means more shopping money #amiright? Rates range from $269 to $586 depending on the room category. I’d say this is a low to mid-priced hotel for Manhattan on a Saturday night. Again, less money on a room means more money to experience things!
Check In
Check in was very smooth. There was no wait and the staff was welcoming. They gave us a late check out time which was nice. There was a little market inside the hotel that I grabbed coffee and a snack from before heading to my 9am show.
I found this handwritten note in the room which added a personal touch.
The Digs
The room was pretty small like most NYC hotels, but there was still room for three females and all of their luggage for NYFW. The decor was modern and sleek. The beds and pillows were comfy and the room was clean.
There were ample outlets and sculptural lighting. We were grateful that there was a radio with an iPhone dock. Nothing like some music while getting ready to head out on the town!
Bathroom
The bathroom was vibrant and modern. The mirror and lighting were wonderful! Big and bright enough for three of us to put our makeup on and do our hair at the same time!
The huge shower head had great water pressure and was stocked with C.O. Bigelow toiletries.
Nice Extras
The front desk gave us each a voucher for a complimentary cocktail in the lounge which is always nice! The lounge was my favorite part of the hotel. If you’re looking for a clean hotel in a great location in midtown Manhattan that will still leave some cash in your pocket, I’d recommend the Park Central 🙂
