When I think of Havana, I think steamy, colorful, classic…
Apparently, so does Bobbi Brown. Feast your eyes on the new Havana Brights Collection. If these colors don’t scream summer than I don’t know what does.
But first, lipstick…
The new Art Stick Liquid Lip formula is creamy, long lasting and pigmented. The applicator tip mimics the shape of a classic lipstick except there’s a teeny hole where the liquid lipstick is dispensed. It’s easy to apply which is always tricky with very pigmented brighter lipsticks. The sticks are squeezable and you can see how much you have left, so you never have to run out. Here is a swatch of the lippies below.
Havana Coral is a peach-nude. So so pretty with a smokey eye.
Guava is a bright coral.
Pink Punch is a reddish magenta.
The shade Pink Punch made my teeth practically glow! It’s a blue-based pink and is absolutely beautiful! Don’t mind the space buns lol! It was a snow day so I was bumming around in my pj’s and playing with makeup 🙂
Then comes glowing skin…
The Illuminating Cheek Palettes are gorgeous also. Each palette comes with a trio of bronzer, blush and highlight. The blush is a fair pink and layers well so it appeals to people that like a slight flush and people that want PINK. The highlighters are sheer and natural looking when applied (not like the Instagram plastic-looking blinding highlight).
The Peach Palette is more of a pink than peach in comparison with the other cheek trio. I’d recommend this palette for fair to medium skin tones. The highlighter is a silky pink champagne color, the blush a pretty pastel peachy pink and the bronzer is light tan with subtle champagne color flecks. .
The Cheek Illuminator Palette in Guava is my favorite of the two. It’s brighter and a bit warmer than the Peach Palette. I’d put it in the coral category. The highlighter is a shimmery pink. It looks great on the high points of the cheekbones. I do not recommend this shade for a nose contour or anywhere on the face except the cheeks because it is definitely pink. The blush is SO pretty! It goes on sheer but adds the right amount of color without looking overdone. The bronzer warms up my whole face. It looks glittery in the pan but when applies, it is subtly glowy and makes me look like I’ve been lounging poolside. I absolutely love it dusted along my hairline.
