Woop woop! We made it to Friday peeps! Speaking of peeps, it’s officially marshmallow Peeps season. Oh spring, how I love thee. Bring on the pastel m&m’s and let it rain jellybeans.
I’m re-releasing an old favorite post from the FSL archives each Friday. In light of things hopefully warming up soon, here’s a simple DIY that anyone can do. I’m not promising it will last long if you’re anything like me and can’t keep your hand out of the candy dish.
This would be adorable for a baby shower decoration or to bring as a hostess gift to an Easter celebration.

I wasn’t a huge Easter fan as a kid. Yes, I loved having Cadbury mini eggs for breakfast. That part was always great (and still is 😉 ). I also used to like beating my little sister in our Easter egg hunt (yes, I was a jerk…I was 5 years older than her). I also tried to booby trap the Easter Bunny one time *thumbs up* good stuff.
As I got older, I started to enjoy the little things about the holiday season. Warmer weather is on the horizon, Spring fashion, and pastel colors!
Our house got a nice dose of Easter vibes this weekend. I saw a similar centerpiece on Pinterest and knew I needed to make this for our house.
Peeps, Easter grass & peanut M&Ms. Stack them like a parfait in a dollar store vase. I added some flowers on top, and then switched the flowers out for lamb shaped lollipops. You could easily use jelly beans or Cadbury mini eggs in place of the M&Ms.
How cute would these be as a centerpiece on your Easter table? They’d even look adorable in a cluster or various sizes. For a few bucks, it could easily entertain the kids and they can put them together.
