I don’t know about you, but if my online shopping cart is like $15 short of free shipping, I’m buying $15 of more crap. Companies know this.
Two years ago, I signed up for Amazon Mom which included a free trial of Prime. Me being me, I completely forgot about cancelling the trial and saw a mysterious $100 charged to my credit card. This entered me into the new world of Amazon Prime and 2-day shipping. I used to say that it was insane to pay $100 for 2-day shipping -especially since it’s not even free shipping. Welp, that was the old me. The new me clicks the “Place Your Order” button and runs to the window to see if the Fed-Ex guy is anywhere in sight.
I am a Prime convert. When it lapsed last March, I wanted to cry. Mr. FSL deemed it an unnecessary purchase, so we were Prime free for almost a year (someone has to be the saver, and it ain’t me). Santa bought Max a Kindle Fire for Christmas and it came with a glorious free trial for Prime. A few days ago, I got the text. “Looks like we have Prime for the next year. I forgot to cancel it”.

Another honorable mention is Sephora “Flash 2-Day Shipping”. For $10 a year, you can have free (minus the ten bucks) 2 day shipping on unlimited purchases. W.I.N.

Yes! I’m a Prime lover!!! Had it for a few years now and definitely got my moneys worth. I love having the items arrive in two days!! Sometimes if I need a gift quick, Amazon always has it and I can get it in two days instead of schlepping to the store. Highly reccomend! 🙂
