If you are reading this, you’re probably aware that brows are the main attraction when it comes to the face these days. I’m still a little surprised that it took this long for the mainstream to figure out that correct color and shaped brows can take years off of your face. There are so many products on the market now that it’s tough to choose which ones to try.
As far as brows go, I’ve been a committed Anastasia Beverly Hills customer. So when Chella asked me to try their brow products to review, I was hesitant (and a little snooty about it if I’m being honest). I admittedly am a total makeup snob but after reading some of the reviews, I caved.
The cost is on par with brands like Anastasia and Benefit ($18-$20 for brow pencil). As long as a product delivers its promise and lasts for a while, I don’t mind spending the money (#worthit). The company sent me an automatic pencil (twist up), clear brow gel, highlighter pencil, and eyebrow cream (pomade).
My favorite product from Chella is the automatic brow pencil. It’s thin. Like realllly thin. Kate Moss thin. The skinny pencil allows each stroke to mimick hair. The tiny point also made it easy to apply right at the roots and not all over the place. Nothing is worse than overdrawn scary eyebrows. They sent me “Tantalizing Taupe” which I initially thought it was going to be too light, but the color was dead on accurate. There is a spooly brush on the end for perfect blending. I love this product. ($20) I put a pencil in the photo so you can see how thin this is!
The brow gel comes in a small mascara like tube and wand. This kept my brows in place through an intense workout, all-day errands, cookie baking, diaper changes, tickle fights, etc. I’d like to see a bigger tube for the $18 price tag, but the product does its job.
Chella’s eyebrow cream is basically pomade, except very user-friendly. The paint pot types of pomade out there are a bit intimidating and very difficult to get right. This is different because the tiny, stiff bristled angle brush is built into the packaging. The product is housed in the opposite end. This can easily be thrown in a purse. ($26)
The highlighter pencil was something I was a little surprised to love as much as I do. I used the color Ivory Lace). In the past I’ve used a small concealer brush to clean up the edges of my brows to make them look extra fleeky 😛 This chubby pencil is pretty much concealer in pencil form. Goes on smooth and the pencil tip makes it simple to apply precisely where you want it. The formula is creamy, so it blends easily. Another love. ($20)
Grab one for yourself or as a gift by clicking here. I’d love to find these in my stocking 🙂

Ah! the spoolie end must be new, the one I have doesn’t have one. That’s great news!

They sell it in two options! There’s one with a spoolie and one without. I think the price difference is only $2
