Here’s a sexy post lol! Expecting a baby is a beautiful thing. Really. I’m going to be real here and say pregnancy isn’t always as glamorous as people like Kourtney Kardashian makes it look.
The body goes through some drastic changes in a relatively short amount of time. I didn’t start “showing” until about half way through pregnancy. So I went from 0 to 60 in like 4 months. Look:
See the whole transformation of belly photos by clicking here. The thing is, you don’t know what your body is going to do when you’re pregnant. You could end up carrying beautifully like Blake Lively and look goddess-like…
…or the opposite. You just never know. The rapid body shape change can wreak havoc on your skin (and let’s be honest your self confidence). Many women experience stretch marks at some point during pregnancy. I was lucky and got stretch marks on my hips and the, ahem, girls when I was 12 *insert sarcastic tone*. I woke up one day with hips and boobs. I swear it happened overnight. However, I didn’t get one new stretch mark when I was pregnant with Max for the whole 38.5 weeks. I swear by Palmer’s cocoa butter line. I covered myself in it daily and used their Tummy Butter every night. My belly was so lubed up, it actually shined brighter (and dare I say rounder than) Kim Kardashian’s coolie on the cover of Paper Magazine.
The people from Palmers know about my love for their Tummy Butter and other amazing creams. They actually sent me a bunch of mama-to-be products to test out. I am happy to report that after using this, this, and this (knock on wood) I’m a week away from being seven months preggo for the second time and no new stretch marks! In fact, I think I am noticing my pre-existing ones are actually fading!
My cousin’s wife is having her baby shower this weekend, and I’m thinking a little pampering package would be a great gift.
**I was provided with the products I reviewed, but all opinions are my own. It’s just a review of a product I believe in and want to spread the word!**
Do you have any go-to stretch mark prevention miracle worker that you swear by? Are you a Tummy Butter devout? Share in the comments!

I need to give this a try! ( hehehe ) 😉
I’ve also been wanting to try the Honest balm too. I love the baby products and I figured I would love it too. We’ll see!

I went and bought the belly butter and stretch mark lotion after you told me about this. So far so good 20.5 weeks no stretch marks, lets hope the next 19.5 go are stretch mark free Madge!

My stretch marks were silver and I hadn’t tried anything to help them in over 7 years. I did a lot I did a lot of research and dermelastic serum was the best stuff I could find. It’s expensive but it works. I’m almost done with this first jar and I will defiantly buy more. My stretch marks are pink now and my husband says he barely notices them.
