I normally only allow myself onto Craigslist to browse if I need something specific because I end up lusting after every single thing I see. I see this stuff as potential DIY projects and have major difficulties walking away from them. I broke my own rule. Rebel rebel.
I poked around last night and told myself I could ONLY look through the free section. For those people that are living under a rock or have a phobia of Craigslist because you think that everyone selling stuff on there is a killer (hi mom!), there is a FREE section. People just giving treasures away. I saw this chunky pedestal dining table that is screaming for a paint job. I think I might die if I don’t refinish this table. Really.
I’m not dramatic, I’m passionate 😉
If you live in the southern CT area, I will paint it for you and you could keep it. I need to re-do this thing. And add some tufted chairs to it. Pretty please?
If you’re more into paying for stuff, I peeped this droolworthy bar cart for around $100.
Please buy this. It’s gorgeous and I want to live vicariously through you. I can see it now… bulbous bud vases filled with blush peonies, a few bottles of bubbly, this gold dipped bowl filled with chocolates and my grandmother’s crystal stemware.
Do you believe in Craigslist killers? Wanna buy me a bigger house so I could fill it with Craigslist finds? Are you a hoarder like me? Want me to paint this table for you? Hit me up.

Love that table! We have one slightly different (the stem is plain, but the legs are big and gorgeous) in the breakfast nook! It needs to be refinished if ya want 😉

Haha you’re too funny! That bar cart is awesome! I finally pulled the trigger and bought the Target one which has been sitting in my car for 2 weeks now because it’s too cold for my plans for it!

i love that table and the bar. ok so you would be proud of me. i got “yelled at” (not really, you know our terminology) for taking a huge stainless steel wine fridge last year out of the garbage room at the apartment complex. this thing is worth a few hundred bucks and works…. welp, i went to put the garbage out yesterday, and what do i find, a perfect good patio set/mini dining room set. two black metal chairs and a big round black metal table. there isnt any glass for the top, but we are going to get a piece of stone (fabio is the mad stone man lol) and we could get a serious piece of stone and refinished by him.,., i am going to reupholster the cushions after fabio brings them to work and cleans them (they have diesel cleaning machines there)…. i cant wait to get before and after pictures.. i knew you would be proud and conveniently just saw this post of yours today haha we are of relations!
Mindy@FindingSilverLinings says
You must take before & after pics and email them to me. Click the DIY project tab up top an check out the post on reupholstering chairs. easy peasy.

Um, so that bar cart, yea I love it. I feel the same way about Habitat for Humanity. It’s just a slight , okay maybe a major , obsession.
