Awkward, clumsy, overindulgent, and hormonal. Yes. That pretty much sums up Yours Truly for 2012. My poor iPhone has had more spills than Lindsay Lohan in a Hollywood nightclub. It’s still in perfect shape thanks to my Speck “candy shell” case. It’s rubbery on the inside to shock of a fall, but hard plastic on the outside for durability. Plus it was a yummy turquoise color.
A few years ago, I bought Mr. FSL a Skull Candy vandal speaker/dock. Every day, I used the speaker with my phone & Pandora app. Gotta love free music! The only problem was, my phone wouldn’t fit on the dock with the case on. I had to keep taking the case off and putting it back on. Eventually, the wear and tear cracked the plastic in a few places and the rubber started to rip.
It was time for a new case. So I picked up the Speck flip case. I absolutely love it. The color selection is great and I can finally dock my phone without removing the case. The case also doubles as a stand.
This is ideal when I’m reading a recipe and my hands are too covered in chocolate to hold the phone. It’s nice when my mom wants to FaceTime with me & Max. And because a mirror would be too easy to use when I freshen up at my desk 😛
