How I’m feeling: Big and swollen. Cankles are just a reality at this point, lol! The only shoes that “fit” are flip-flops, and even those look like they need to be chiseled off by the last hour or so of work. My face is puffy and starting to change. I’m pretty sure it’s the fluid retention doing this, but my hands and toes go numb when I sleep. The countdown clock in my kitchen is at 11 days left until the due date. We still have not agreed on names. I am a wreck over it.
Nice: I am one of six preggos at my school (in June, I was 1 of 8!) ! Monday, the staff threw four of us a little baby shower with a cake and a basket full of baby books for each of us. It was so nice 🙂 Now our little one has a mini library of bedtime books.

Cravings: Salty Wavy Lays potato chips! Anything involving Nutella. Or chips dunked in Nutella…yes seriously.
Aversions: asparagus (still) Yuck! I’m wondering if I will ever like it again!
Baby is the size of: a pumpkin!
The baby at 38 weeks:
- Baby may have about an inch or so of hair already.
- He or she’s slowly shedding that white goo on the skin (called vernix caseosa) but you might see some of it at birth.

You look so great! Baby P is almost here! I’m bummed I missed the baby shower at work. I’m sure it was great (and, hey, who doesn’t love a baby shower to liven up a Monday afternoon staff meeting? haha)
