As you guys are probably aware, casa FSL is team green. We did not find out the gender of Baby P. We decided to go with an ivory color palette to keep things neutral. When the baby arrives, there will be pops of either navy or peach & purple around the room.
With 35 days until the due date, nursery plans are on the forefront of the to do list. I’m very happy with the way the room is coming along and can’t wait to show you all! Here’s a quick peek into a little nook in our baby’s room that I snapped:
This corner and large wall behind the crib are the only problem area. The walls are bare here. The problem is, I have so many ideas. Too many. Maybe you guys can help. Here are some inspiration pictures I’ve dug up from around the net…
Maybe white netting above the crib with a monogram.
Or tissue poms above the crib in navy or purples & peach.
Maybe an all white mobile with bird shapes instead of butterflies.
Empty frame with baby’s name spelled out in the center hung above the crib.
Thoughts? Ideas? Opinions? Help!

I vote for frames on the back wall. Have you been to Little Baby Garvin’s blog? She has a really cute etsy page with printed things too.

Yes! I saw Harper’s name in the white frame. Love it!

I’m going to have to go with the netting – so mystical – I might have to steal the idea when i have a babe! 🙂

I like the netting too. It’s dreamy. I want the nursery to be very serene. Hopefully it will make the baby sleep well 🙂

i vote netting, but then again if its a boy, i like the frame with the initial in it.

They’re all very sweet and inspirational. As crafty as you are, you could probably incorporate most, if not, all, of them. My favorites are the empty frame(s) with the baby’s name, and the mobile with the birds.
