How I’m feeling: Great! Working out regularly (light weights and cardio). The bump is getting rounder looking by the day! Sciatic nerve pain is almost gone, I’m thinking due to the Preggle Pillow! I have been quite emotionally sensitive lately too. I’m loving feeling all of the baby’s movements
New and exciting: The bump made it’s debut at school. I’ve been basically rotating the same 10 baggy shirts to work. Wednesday I wore a very fitted top and the “You don’t even look pregnant” comments came to a screeching halt. Win! The baby’s kicks are getting a lot stronger. I used to only be able to feel them at night while in bed, but now I feel it throughout the day too. We went for another ultrasound this week (because the baby’s positioning wasn’t optimal for measuring it’s belly last time). It’s still a thumb sucker which I love 🙂
It has big eyes like mama.
It has daddy’s legs! Check out those calves!
Lame Stuff: Still chafing from the compression pantyhose. The scale made a biiiiiig jump since my last dr visit. Yikes!
Cravings: Lots of the same stuff. Tomato sauce, ice cold milk in cereal, strawberry shortcake icecream bars.
Aversions: asparagus (still), unseasoned meat (plain steak or chicken).
- Now that he or she’s got more developed eyes and lips, it’s looking even more like a newborn.
- It’s sleeping in cycles — about 12 to 14 hours per day (hint: they’re probably those times you’re not feeling any kicks!).
