I have a slight phobia of nailing unnecessary holes in our walls. On the flip side, I reeeeally want a wall full of framed artwork. Like these:
I am pretty sure that I’ve finally decided on the lucky wall.
Here’s a closer look:
If I get cold feet, I’m thinking I may actually do this:
I don’t have molding, but I’m thinking I might want to nail hooks to a board of distressed wood.
What do you guys think? Bite the bullet and nail away to make a beautiful gallery wall? Or try the board & hook hanging?

Go for it. Bite the bullet. Personally, my favorite drywall hanger lately is the one at the top of this post: http://www.lemurzone.com/rfg/index.php/2008/04/page/2/ it works great. Good luck!!

By the way, started reading 50 shades this week at the beach and I can’t get enough!! Christian Bale totally plays Christian Grey in my mind. Totally hot.

Bite the bullet!! Holes are easy enough to fix if you make a mistake. Or you could just make another hole and cover the first one with a frame! Done and Done!

Thanks Diana!!

Great idea! Love the way they look. I think I’m going to do that on a bare wall in my house, too. Thank you for that! I also love the idea of hanging all the frames from a piece of distressed wood. Do you have a particular piece already? Good luck to you! Hope it turns out well, whatever y’all decide to do. Hope you’re feeling well, too. 😀

I just wanted to second the suggestion about the 3M stickers – especially the velcro ones! They are so so good, I’ve hung properly framed posters from them and they’ve not shifted after 2 years. We’re moving now and the wall patches are coming off totally stain-free. The velcro means you can also reposition them fairly easily 🙂

Thank you. That’s exactly what I’m going to do!!
