I feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day. Am I alone on this one? My weekdays usually go something like this:
7:00/7:30 – wake up, hit snooze, snuggle back up with Rocco, repeat.
7:35- get ready for work
8:35- drive to work
3:30- tutor after school
4:30- drive home
4:45- throw my stuff down on the counter and change into my gym clothes, snuggle with Rocco for a few (how can I resist his furry face all cuddled up?!)
5:00- gym (weight training & 25-30 minutes cardio)
6:00- go home & start dinner
6:30- eat, catch up with husband, do some dishes
7:15- shower/ blowdry
8:00- blog
9:00- hang out with my husband/watch TV/ read
9:30- brush teeth
9:35- I run out of steam and it’s bedtime.
Yes, it’s very glamorous. I need a vacation. Or a temporary escape.
I forgot what a great escape reading can be. I’ve been trying squeezing in more time to read. During college, I didn’t have time to read for pleasure, just for school. My father bought me a Kindle this past Christmas, and I haven’t been able to put it down. I’ve since then downloaded the Kindle app on my iPhone so that way if I forget to have my Kindle on hand, and I have a free second, I can catch up on Anastasia Steele & Christian Grey *teehee*.
I’ve recently been introduced to the website GoodReads.com. It’s pretty great. You can connect with friends, authors and get tons of relevant book recommendations based on books that you have already read and enjoyed. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!
What are you reading currently? Any recommendations? Are you on Goodreads? Hit me up 🙂

I just bought the three Fifty Shades of Grey books and cannot wait to read them. Summer is usually when I find have more time to read. I don’t seem to get tired so early when it’s light out longer 🙂
Mindy@FindingSilverLinings says
You will tear through them in a matter of days.
