I’m not one of those people that eats only organic foods, honestly it’s a little too expensive. I usually buy it when I can afford it. Since finding out I have a bun in the oven, I’ve been buying organic whenever I can. I don’t want my baby to have anything to do with pesticides and/or weird farming hormones if I could help it.
Pesticides and weird farming hormones aside, I have made a new discovery. I have been buying organic milk for the past few months. I have noticed that it lasts so much longer than regular milk. Mr. FSL isn’t much of a milk drinker. I use it in my protein shakes, oatmeal, and occasional bowl of Cheerios. In the past, I’ve had to throw lots of milk away because it has gone bad. Regular milk has a pretty short shelf life.
I bought this milk yesterday.
It’s April 30th by the way. A month and a half away from the sell by date.
Sweet. Longer shelf life, less waste, no hormones, happy baby, happy Mindy.
