Last month we were in Salt Lake City, Utah on our annual ski trip. On our last day, we had some time to kill before our plane left. We decided to go into town. I prefer coffee for energy purposed only. Before I board a plane, I’d like soothing tea. I’ve loved tea since my great grandmother used to sip tea with me (hear about those childhood memories here). See their website here. We stumbled upon the Beehive Tea Room. Immediately upon walking in, I squealed! I was IN LOVE with this place! The 1940’s asian inspired decor, the intoxicating smell of freshly baked cranberry scones, and the mile long tea list threw me over the edge. There were little nooks and crannies all over the place. Every corner was loaded with intricate detail upon detail! I was hopping from velvet setee to velvet setee. I had to sit in each special spot. I am like a child and don’t care who knows it obviously. I chose the scone and lavender tea (which came in its own teapot). Mr FSL had to drag me out of here. Literally. I’m just going to let the photos do the talking.
Do you have anywhere super cool like this where you live? Spill.

Oh, I love tea! Joe and I had afternoon tea while we were on our honeymoon and I have been dying to find a place like that again. Too bad this place is in Utah!
