This blog has been up and running fairly steadily for the past year and a few months. Before I made the switch to self hosted (FSL.net) there was a lot of dialogue between me & you guys. That is my favorite aspect of blogging. Feedback & the feeling of community. It’s been a while since I checked back in with you. I’d love to know more about you all, especially the hundreds of you that pop in each day that I never got to know yet. 1. Where are you from? Kent, in the South of England
2. What do you do from 9-5? I’m on maternity leave at the moment but I work for a children’s counselling organisation.
3. Favorite Book(s)? of all time? I love all P G Wodehouse and I loved Shantaram, which I finished a couple of months ago. And I’m really enjoying Fuchsia Dunlop’s book Sichuan Pepper and Shark’s Fin Soup, which I’m reading at the moment.
4. Go to weeknight meal? Pasta with tuna and cheese is a great stand by in this house. Or ramen soup – we eat a huge amount of Japanese food.
5. What band/singer are you loving lately? I love my old favourites – Blur, Pulp, The Charlatans, Richard Hawley, and I’m very excited about the new Leonard Cohen album.

I was googling how to spray paint wooden furniture and there you were! Great tutorial (and the piece looked lovely), I’ve bookmarked and pinned it, and am going to get going on a mirror and chair in the next couple of weeks. Then I’ve quite enjoyed seeing all your other posts – lots of lovely stuff to catch up!
Well done on recognising the Marilyn quote! She’s my all time favourite, so beautiful, so funny.
