Happy New Year!
I hope you had a fantastic holiday week. Our house was full of family, toys, food and doctor visits. Long story short is my family only gets sick on holidays. Both boys are home today with ear infections and horrible coughs. The day after Christmas, I started having vertigo and ocular migraines (which is still lingering today). I basically felt like I was rocking on a boat for the past week or so. The doc said it is due to BPPV, gave me some physical therapy and stuck me in in this for a week.
Attractive.
I swear I was planning on starting my 2016-get-my-old-body-back-diet but then this happened. So I did what any normal person would do -I made dessert.
I’m not normally a big fudge fan, but this isn’t your grandma’s fudge. This is a trashed up version of it. I added some Nutella (shocker, I know) and sprinkled a little sea salt on top to help drown my neck brace sorrows. This was basically me after the kids were sleeping every night until each piece of fudge was gone.
Not only is this fudge recipe easy, it’s insanely addicting. The Nutella adds a nice complexity and the sea salt is an unexpected kick. Sweet, salty, chewy and chocolately is basically my favorite combination ever.
P.S. that photo was taken around my fifth piece. Whatever.

This fudge is the best thing I have ever eaten. I literally ate every piece of fudge my beautiful daughter-in-law (in and out) gave me before she pulled out of the driveway! OMG!!!!!!!!!!
